Food & Hospitality

Software for restaurants and food businesses, built for orders on the go.

Restaurant websites, one-tap ordering, and catering and franchise enquiries that reach the right person — designed for customers who are hungry, in a hurry and on their phones.

The problems

Where food businesses lose orders.

The rush happens on the phone

At peak hours the phone rings, WhatsApp fills up and someone is still waiting at the counter. Customers already know how to order that way. A website that adds yet another channel — a form nobody checks, an ordering system the staff never learned — makes the rush harder, not easier.

A menu that’s out of date by the weekend

Prices move with ingredient costs, dishes sell out and specials come and go. When the menu online is a photo of an old printed card, or a file only the designer can change, customers ask for dishes you no longer make at prices you no longer charge — and the counter has the awkward conversation.

Every enquiry lands on the order line

Catering requests, would-be franchise partners and job seekers all ring the number customers order on, often in the middle of service. A catering enquiry deserves a proper answer — date, guest numbers, location — but a quick message sent in the rush rarely carries those details, and some come from places the kitchen can’t deliver to.

Checked on a phone before anyone orders

Before ordering or visiting, people look you up. Are you open? How do I get there? Is this kitchen properly licensed? A wrong map pin, missing opening hours or no licence details on show can lose a customer before they have tasted anything.

What we build

What we build for food businesses.

A restaurant website, mobile-first

Menu, story, gallery and events pages, designed at phone width before they are widened for desktop. One address to print on every bill, banner and social post.

Ordering in one tap

Order buttons that open WhatsApp or ring the shop straight from the page. Customers use what they already know, there is no app to install or account to create, and nothing changes behind the counter on launch day.

A menu your team can keep current

Menu, prices, specials and events set up so the person who knows today’s menu can change it the same day, not a file that waits in a designer’s inbox.

Enquiries that reach the right person

A catering route that states your delivery radius up front and asks for the details your kitchen needs, plus separate franchise and careers routes — so fewer of them land on the order line mid-service.

Opening hours, directions and trust details

Opening hours, maps directions to your door, and your food safety licence and tax registration (in India, FSSAI and GSTIN) shown where customers look for them. Small things that answer the questions people ask before they order.

An ordering app for your regulars

For places whose regulars order every week, an iOS and Android app built from one Flutter codebase, so both arrive together. If the website already does the job, we will tell you so.

Questions

Questions from food & hospitality.

Do we need an app, or is a website enough?

Usually, start with the website. Many customers won’t install an app for a place they order from now and then, but they will tap a button on a page that loads quickly. An app earns its place when regulars order often enough to want saved favourites, order history or notifications. We will give you an honest recommendation in discovery, even if it means a smaller project.

Can we keep taking orders on WhatsApp and the phone?

Yes, and often you should. Our Dancing Chef Biriyani site works this way: order buttons open WhatsApp or ring the shop directly, so orders come in on the phone and WhatsApp the kitchen already answers. If you later want orders to arrive in a queue with online payment, that is a bigger build, and we would scope it properly in discovery first.

Can our staff update the menu and prices themselves?

That is how we would plan it. In discovery we agree which parts change often — usually the menu, prices, specials and events — and set those up so your team can edit them without a developer. You get written documentation and a handover, and the code stays in your own repository.

We have more than one branch, or want to franchise. Can the site handle that?

Yes, if we plan for it from the start. The Dancing Chef site already has a separate franchise enquiry route. For several branches, we would work out in discovery how each branch’s menu, phone number, opening hours and directions appear, so a customer always reaches the right kitchen.

How long does it take, and what does it cost?

It depends on what it needs to do — a menu with one-tap ordering is a much smaller job than an app with online payments. We start with a short, fixed-price discovery, usually one to two weeks, which ends with a scoped plan and a real budget. Then we build in two-week sprints, so you are clicking through a working version two weeks after building starts, with a fresh demo at the end of every sprint. You can stop, pause or extend between them.
